Our Sessions
Three ways we can support your family
Each session is educational in nature. We do not offer legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind. We encourage all families to engage the relevant professionals for personal matters.
Listening & Speaking Workshop
A supportive workshop where family members practise calm listening and respectful, clear speaking during a period of change. Purely educational and skills-focused, with guided prompts and a take-home guide. Not counselling or advice.
- Guided communication prompts
- Take-home reference guide
- Small-group or one-family format
Family Records & Planning Session
A practical session helping a family gather and organise their own everyday paperwork and shared information into a clear, labelled folder. Includes checklists and a simple planning template, with pointers to the appropriate professionals for formal matters.
- Labelled folder and checklists
- Simple planning template
- Pointers to relevant professionals
Family Continuity Programme
A multi-session programme combining communication workshops, shared planning conversations, and organisation of everyday family information into one accessible place. Includes a family binder and follow-up check-ins for factual, non-advisory matters.

- Family binder included
- Follow-up check-in sessions
Why Amberkith
A considered approach to family coordination
We keep things practical, respectful, and clear. Nothing here is advice — it is education and organisation, delivered with patience.
Non-advisory, always
Every session is educational. We help families develop their own skills and gather their own documents. We never take the place of a solicitor, counsellor, or financial adviser.
Respectful and private
Families share sensitive information in our sessions. We handle all details with discretion and never use personal information beyond the session itself.
Clear signposting
Where a family needs professional input, we direct them toward the right channels — be it a solicitor, a registered counsellor, or a government body.
Inclusive of all family shapes
Our sessions welcome families of every composition — blended, multigenerational, or with members at a distance. No particular family model is assumed.
Practical materials to keep
Every session produces something tangible — a guide, a checklist, or an organised binder that stays with the family long after the session ends.
Flexible scheduling
Sessions can be arranged across weekdays or Saturday mornings to suit working family members. We are based in George Town and can discuss arrangements by phone.
Common Questions
Things families often ask us
What exactly do your sessions cover?
Our sessions focus on two areas: communication skills (how to speak and listen with care during a period of change) and practical organisation (gathering and labelling everyday family documents). We do not offer legal, financial, counselling, or any regulated professional service.
Do I need to bring anything to a session?
For the Listening & Speaking Workshop, just yourself — or whichever family members you would like to include. For the Records & Planning Session, it helps to bring copies of any everyday paperwork you would like to sort through, though we can also discuss what to gather beforehand.
Can one family member attend, or does everyone need to come?
That depends on what you are hoping to work on. Some families find it most useful to attend together. Others prefer to send one representative first to understand the approach. We are happy to discuss the best arrangement when you get in touch.
Are your sessions held in English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Mandarin?
Our primary working language is English. If you have particular language needs, please mention this when you contact us and we will do our best to accommodate or point you toward a suitable resource.
How long does each session last?
The Listening & Speaking Workshop typically runs for about two and a half hours. The Family Records & Planning Session is usually three to four hours. The Family Continuity Programme spans multiple sessions over several weeks, with the timing arranged to suit the family.
Will my information be kept private?
Yes. Any information shared during a session is handled with care and used only to support the work we do with your family. We do not share details with third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I cancel or reschedule a session?
We ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Please contact us by phone or email and we will do our best to find an alternative time that suits you. Our full terms are outlined in the Terms & Conditions linked in our footer.
